According to the Mail on Sunday, Daniel's stepbrother, Phillip Blond, has become an advisor for UK Conservative leader David Cameron.
Phillip, who is two years older than Daniel, is the son of painter and art gallery owner Max Blond. Max married Daniel's mother 15 years ago. Phillip told the newspaper, "I am a huge fan of Daniel. According to ChicagoTribune.com, Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman arrived today unannounced at the Cook County Criminal Courts at 2600 S. California Avenue in Chicago.
Daniel and Hugh were traveling incognito on a Chicago research trip for their upcoming play "A Steady Rain." They spent the day scoping out Chicago cops in their natural habitats. According to a New York spokesman for the play, the visit to Chicago had been kept a closely guarded secret to allow the actors time and space to do the requisite research for their roles. Daniel Spotted in New York City According to the New York Post, Daniel is in Manhattan rehearsing the play "A Steady Rain." He was spotted at Primola restaurant on the Upper East Side with Barbara Broccoli and her husband Fred Zollo.
Huge Advance Sale for 'A Steady Rain' Playbill.com notes that tickets for A Steady Rain — the two-character Keith Huff play that will co-star Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman — have yet to go on sale to the general public, but the production has already taken in millions. Variety reports that the play, which will be directed by Tony Award nominee John Crowley, has an advance of $3 million solely from the American Express cardholders pre-sale, which began July 11. Tickets will go on sale to the general public July 25 at 12:01 AM ET. A Steady Rain will begin previews Sept. 10 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. The production will play a strictly limited 12-week engagement through Dec. 6. Opening night is scheduled for Sept. 29.
